註釋We are fortunate to have so many beautiful old photos and postcards of Queens County. Trying to identify where old pictures were taken can sometimes be difficult. Some areas can look much the same as they did many years ago, while other areas look completely different. Fires have destroyed many old buildings and others have been demolished. Tim McDonald once again shares nearly 200 old photos and postcards in this second volume. These images show the earlier days of Queens County and how things have changed over the past hundred years. Each page of the book displays a photo from the past at the top and a photo from the present at the bottom. Both photos were taken at the same location. A brief history is presented between the photos. In 1990 Tim McDonald began collecting old Queens County photographs and postcards. HIs collection now contains over 1500 images.
