Crown Land Pricing Principles
註釋The British Columbia Ministry of Environment, Lands & Parks Crown land management policy has pricing as a major element. Pricing is necessary to establish the fee or rental rates charged for the use or permanent acquisition of public land. This document sets out the six fundamental principles that form the basis of Ministry pricing policy for Crown land use programs: fair return to the Crown, impartiality in terms of application and effects, comparability among and within Ministry land use programs, equity, administrative efficiency, and flexibility. The document then presents pricing policy guidelines relating to land valuation, market price determination, method of payment, form and term of tenure, and method of Crown land disposition.
