註釋In her fourth book of poetry, Benninghoff returns, as she must, to the Colorado River of the Grand Canyon. Each trip through the canyon brings new surprises - storms that create rim to river waterfalls and flash floods, different sights and surprises visiting new side canyons, and always the way that those who are part of the trip make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. All who have run rivers, or spent time in Grand Canyon will find images and observations that remind them of an experience of their own.
