註釋European Collaborative Health Services Studies (ECHSS) consist of a programme of related projects involving collaboration between research workers and health care staff in different parts of Europe. The programme developed methods of data collection and presentation that would help to improve health care. One of the methods was to provide "profiles" of each local area that included their demography and geography as well as an inventory of health care resources and activity. This report presents the area profile of the Mid-West Region (Republic of Ireland).
