Antisemitismus im Nationalsozialismus
註釋Contains, mainly, facsimiles of documents from the Nazi period relating to the Jews in Triberg (Baden-Württemberg). Includes personal documents, government communications, and commemoration pages. Pp. 32-34 discuss the fate of 6,500 Jewish residents of the area of Baden and the Palatinate who were deported in October 1940 to Gurs, where starvation and dreadful hygienic conditions contributed to a high mortality rate. In 1942 deportations to concentration camps in the East began. 71.3% of the deportees from the region of Baden perished in France or in concentration camps in the East. Only 300 former residents survived the Holocaust. Pp. 35-66 document the fate of Dr. Leopold Maier and of Otto and Frieda Haas, residents of Triberg who were murdered in Auschwitz.
