Your Dreams and What They Mean
註釋Written in 1931, this text is an early post Freudian analysis of dreams that draw on the therapist's case studies. Clement Wood was a popular dream analyst who based his work on scientific and psychological principles and on the premise that dreams are mirrors of our own wishes. He believed that the subconcious acted as a censor, and substituted difficult information that the mind cannot comprehend or accept with symbolism. By following his paths of interpretation, the symbolic meaning of dreams can be found by a logical and orderly examination of the dreamer's reality, life experiences and deepest desires.
