註釋This is a scrapbook of press materials assembled by the press department of the International Center of Photography during the time of the opening of the ICP in November 1974 and during 1975. There are press clippings from various newspapers relating to the story of the opening of the ICP. Contained in this book there are the press statements, announcements and materials released leading up to the opening of the ICP. On the first page of this book there is the invite from the Board of Trustees requesting "the pleasure of your company at the opening of the International Center of Photography, Friday evening, November 15, 1974, eight o'clock to eleven o'clock". There are press clippings reviewing the opening event and of the ICP center. There are editorial comments upon the opening of the Center and reviews of the ICP - the new photographic institution. There are also photographs - press prints - of the opening night and the persons in attendance on that evening which are pasted into this scrapbook.
