Complementary/alternative Therapies in Nursing
註釋This book offers a systematic approach to a wide range of alternative/complementary therapies that can be used by nurses independently. Each chapter describes a different therapy and follows a standard format: definition, review of current research, description of uses and techniques, precautions, and a list of questions for further research. Many of these therapies such as massage and application of heat and cold have traditionally been part of nursing practice; while others such as imagery, meditation, and biofeedback are interventions that nurses can use to enrich their practice.
