註釋Alexander McCay (1737-1817?) was born in County Monaghan, Ulster, Ireland. He was the son of John McCay. By the time he emigrated to America in 1755, he had changed his name to McCoy. He married Margaret Dixon in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and they were the parents of ten children. Their descendants settled in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and now descendants live throughout the United States.
