註釋This short book is a thirty-day devotional focusing on the glory of Christ; that is, the character of Jesus, and it is for the sole purpose of magnifying Jesus’ great name by increasing one's devotion and love for Jesus through the simple revelation of His Word. The beholding of Christ's beauty through His word ought to be the Christian's chief enjoyment; it is what gives our souls life, strength, hope, and joy; through it, we are made better and constrained to love Christ more. And so, this devotion seeks to lay before the reader glimpses of God's glory in the face of Jesus Christ, that they might be urged on to a more devoted and zealous life for Jesus.
