The Nude at Home series evolved from thePinhole camera series begun around 1998, donein the studio and in the landscape. In the studioI would ask the model to bring something of hersto the shoot. I wanted to find a way to capture apersonal sense of the model. Then I realized thatin the model's home everything was part of the lifeand story of the model. As early as 2003, I had doneshoots in the model's ut it was not until about2010 that I recognized how much more personalthese images were. I then tried to set up most ofmy Pinhole camera shoots with the model in herhome.
