註釋
"The following outlines the experimental tasks - phase 1 - to be carried out Nov. 25-Dec. 20 to study oil and gas under sea ice: 1. Preliminary evaluation of ice condition and selection of test areas:] ... 1. dry run, 2. broken ice, 3. unbroken ice, 4. controls. 2. Confirm bathymetry within allowable limits i.e. 40-80 ft. 3. Mark test areas, establish traffic corridors, establish run-in for Supplier. 4. Take water samples, bottom samples, ice cores for salinity analysis, base levels. 5. Install current meters in locations selected with scientific co-ordinator. 6. Establish row of marked (Black & white) stakes at 10 m intervals across test sites for deflection & snow depth - for dry run - for unbroken ice test. 7. Establish preliminary snow depths through test area. 8. Carry out detailed ice thickness measurement array to determine extent of undersurface roughness. 9. Install strain gauges for dry run test. 10. Conduct Ice Thickness measurement program with GSSI (unmodified) radar. 11. Install Meteorological Station. 12. Establish on site weather records (manual). 13. Map test area with barge location, water depth contours, ice features, discharge sites, prohibited areas, etc. 14. Establish daily ice measurement sites. 15. Install Thermistor Chains in test sites. 16. Conduct preliminary underwater estimates of ice bottom roughness, particularly in vicinity of dry-run and control test sites. 17. Install and survey diver positioning transponders (Mesotech System).
