註釋Joseph "Jose" Alvarez was born in about 1771 in Spain or Portugal. He married Juana Barbee in about 1813 in Fernandina, Amelia Island, Florida. They had seven children. He died in 1837 in Black Creek District, Duval County, Florida. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Florida and Texas.
