33 Stories from Beyond Told from Here and Now
註釋The 33 stories of the afterlife, told from the hereafter are real cases of paranormal phenomena told in the first person by its protagonist, Rafael Ricardo Guarin López, an architect with an extraordinary ability to perceive the supernatural.

The ghost of a woman who among the tourists who come to the town looks for her baby in her arms; the spirit of a child who, bored from having spent decades in a limbo of waiting, wanders in the backyards of houses inviting living children to play with him; some souls that in a group besiege a medium; ghost animals, energy bugs, goblins, witches, evil entities ... Dozens of ghostly characters travel parallel to the living and -thanks to the medium who is able to recognize, observe and understand them- at times one and the other merge and confuse in stories that seem to hang between the real and the fantastic, between the plausible and the incredible.

However, Rafael is not only an attentive and studious spectator and researcher of both dimensions -that of the living and that of the dead-, but also at times must intervene as a point of contact between the two. Among others, he is often impelled to help spirits in different ways, among others, to finish transcending and crossing the threshold that leads to the beyond.

The 33 stories correspond to different moments in the life of Rafael Ricardo Guarin and, in this way, give an account of the entire process that has meant -from very early in his childhood-, the discovery, formation and maturation of his extrasensory faculties . In this development, the protagonist and author has invested great efforts to study, experiment and, likewise, give rationality and explanations to so many hidden phenomena and events for most people.

In this way, although in part they were written to amuse those who are simply curious about supernatural events, throughout the stories the author maintained a greater hope and intention: to promote among readers the recognition and acceptance of what supernatural as part of the reality and daily life of the planet and humanity. The author knows that with this effort he seeks to contribute to the cause so that those like him who came to life with an extra capacity to perceive paranormal phenomena, are not isolated and even feared for questioning the limits between the physical and the supernatural that have been marked with an even cruel and excessive rigor, by those who do not allow themselves to perceive the world except with only five of their senses.
