Unemployment Duration and Labour Market Transitions Under Different Welfare Regimes
註釋Germany implemented comprehensive labour market reforms between 2003 and 2005 that affected the labour market careers of the unemployed in many ways. Based on rich administrative individual data, this note investigates the distribution of unemployment durations by various exit states before and after the reform. We find that transitions to employment as well as unemployment durations have hardly changed in quantitative terms, but the importance of different active labour market policies and the labour market attachment of the unemployed has changed.
