Feasibility study with implementation of digital railway telecommunication system. Implementation of GSM-R will enable to construct a comprehensive and uniform telecommunications system in line with modern technologies. The document includes detailed analysis of the existing railway infrastructure with the stress on TC system, demand analysis and forecast of railway traffic, scope ofthe project with description of technical solution and effects of GSM-R implementation, railway traffic safety analysis, environmental aspect and project management. Special part of the document deals with financial economic analysis which includes investment costs, sources of financing, cost-benefit analysis and risk and sensitivity analysis.
