Humanizing Public Organizations offers a strategy for organization change usually called Organization Development, or OD. OD rests on a set of quite specific values, and seeks to integrate human needs and organization performance by a range of "designs" or "interventions" responsive to human as well as technical considerations, to the emotional as well as the rational.
