註釋The purpose of this project was to generate hypotheses about present housing conditions and aspirations of the elderly & to ascertain their attitudes toward: 1) their external physical environment (services & facilities), 2) their internal physical environment (dwelling unit in terms of space, services, facilities), 3) their social environment (medical/paramedical services, neighbours, friends, property manager), 4) their economic situation (% of income spent in housing & ownership status). The research method involved group discussions with selected samples of senior citizens in urban & suburban regions of metropolitan Toronto.
