Climate Change Vulnerabality Assessment and Adaptation Options for Ontario's Clay Belt
註釋"In response to the Ontario government's Climate Ready: Ontario's Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan, 2011-2014, the Ministry of Natural Resources sponsored vulnerability assessments for selected natural resources in the Clay Belt of northeastern Ontario as part of a pilot study to help Ontarians develop adaptive solutions to a changing climate. A multi-step vulnerability assessment and adaptation framework was used to explore how ecosystems within the Clay Belt may be vulnerable to change. Stakeholders and partners were engaged early in the process to identify potential adaptation options for natural, managed, and social systems in the Clay Belt. In this report, overall study methods are described and results of the vulnerability assessments and adaptation options scoping process are summarized. Recommendations provided in support of adaptation planning and management include approaches for implementation, additional research needs, and guidance for future climate change adaptation strategies that involve vulnerability assessments."--Publisher
