This is the 4th edition of the textbook Prestressed Concrete, which has been extensively rewritten to take account of modern developments in the theory and practice of prestressed concrete construction.

This edition has been specially prepared as the text for a first, introductory course in prestressed concrete for undergraduate civil and structural engineering students. It has been chosen to provide an introductory treatment of the behaviour and design of statically determinate prestressed concrete flexural members.
