Building Information Systems Through Computerized Geocoding and Record Linkage
註釋The computer techniques developed, tested, and distributed by the U.S. Bureau of the Census are designed to assist planners and decision makers in both the public and private sectors in the investigation of the geographic distribution of socio-economic data and the linkage of various data sets for the purpose of efficient and rapid examination of alternate courses of action. The development and effectiveness of these techniques are described with examples of current applications both in the United States and other countries. The methods of disseminating the technology are reviewed and future potentials to improve computerized information systems are discussed.
