This report summarizes Alaska's 2012 subsistence and personal use salmon fisheries based upon subsistence and personal use permit data and harvest assessment surveys from across the state. New information is compared to findings from previous years and the results are discussed. Where available, information about other subsistence finfish fisheries is included. Additional information from federal agencies regulating and administering certain subsistence fisheries, beginning in 1997, is included where available.
