Living Education
註釋These essays address many of the important ideas being debated in education today. They also provide an historical context for the discussion of the major educational themes which have dominated education over the last twenty years or so. They have been written to honour the outstanding work of more than forty years by Professor John Tomlinson, Director of the Institute of Education at the University of Warwick and former Chief Education Officer of Cheshire. The authors who have contributed to this collection have taken paths which - at some stage - have crossed with that of John Tomlinson. Each of these authors has made a distinguished contribution to public life, and their writing draws on this experience. They belong to no single school of thought and their views differ on many topics, but they share a dedication to high quality education and a profound respect for the work of John Tomlinson.
