Communicating Personally
註釋Abstract: Part of a series on speech communication, this book presents the authors' theory of interpersonal communication. This theory, introduced in chapter one, is based on a continuum of interpersonal communication which ranges from highly impersonal to highly personal. Throughout the text the authors have included exercises, activities, and discussion questions to help the reader use this theory to improve interpersonal communication. The chapters address the following topics: communication behavior, personal communication, honesty, validation, trust, alienation, psychological health, and current research.
