Avalon thought she had finally figured it all out. She was destined for a short life with the other Maidens and had an arranged marriage to an obnoxious dragon. Her life was figured out, just not in her control.

Forced to look fate in the eye she decides to take her role as leader of the Maidens to a new level as they start their training with the Guardians. Which would have been fine if it weren't for the awkwardness between her and Ethan after finding out he was a Guardian sent to protect her. The awkwardness only builds when she finds out he's keeping even more secrets from her.
