註釋As one in a series of studies on workplace computer usage, this paper uses the 14th cycle of the General Social Survey to empirically investigate the following 3 questions: how widespread computer use is in the Canadian workplace and how this incidence is correlated to observable demographic attributes, geographic locations, and work characteristics; how often workers use computers at work and whether this frequency varies with observable demographic attributes, geographic locations, and work characteristics; the purpose of computer use in the workplace.
