Collection consists of correspondence, ledgers, account books, business records, deeds, writs, estate records, manuscripts of a history of Salisbury and a history of the Iroquois, and other papers of Weeks, concerning his farm and produce; business travel; his business in bee hives, which he patented and sold through agents; his personal finances; the many estates he administered, including that of Afro-American Abraham Sowers; and his service as justice of the peace and grand juror in Salisbury, Vt., including cases involving an unwed mother, family violence, abuse of women, and a riot, as well as many involving money or property; the building of the railroad and workers boarding at the Weeks home; and music. Also including correspondence and a Sunday School book of his wife, Harriet (Prindle) Weeks (1792-1853), and a few papers of their daughter, Hannah Lucy (later Mrs. Hannah Lucy Clarke). Other topics represented includes the building of the railroad and workers boarding at the Weeks home.
