Reasoning by Analogy and Causality
註釋This book deals with a technically difficult topic within artificial intelligence in a coherent and logical manner. It is an attempt to specify a list of specific requirements for a system intended to reason by analogy and to build a system that meets these requirements. One of the intentions is to propose a foundation for a consensus on the role and scope of certain forms of analogical reasoning. A second intention is to demonstrate a technique which has been applied in the context of a larger system, providing evidence for its usefulness.
