註釋The twelve years covered in this book saw the publication of the six volumes of Georgian Poetry, the series of anthologies of contemporary verse edited by Edward Marsh. The author describes the circumstances and personalities involved in their creation and critical reception. In its prime before World War I the Georgian movement attracted poets such as D.H. Lawrence, Siegfried Sassoon, Walter de la Mare, Issac Rosenberg and Robert Graves and exemplified the idealist spirit of modernity of its time.
