Jacob D. Hawk (1803-1880) married Mary Ingle (Engle) in 1825 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and moved to Athens County, Ohio after 1847. Descendants and relatives lived in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Appendix lists much genealogical data (without always tracing relationship) for Hawk individuals and/or families in Athens County, Ohio.
