註釋"A compilation of comic strips published over a two year period; they were written by Scott Bentley and illustrated by Greg Martens. Bentley and Martens are childhood friends who first met at Mill Valley Elementary School in Muskego, Wisconsin. Pseudo Heroes and Wally existed both online and printed in the comics section of the now defunct University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee weekly newspaper, The UWM Post. The dueo produced two separate comic strips and offered them both to the public. Pseudo Heroes are extraordinary people with ordinary powers such as Wonder Bra Woman, Family Man, and Alcoholic Man & Schooter Boy. Wally: The Amazing Psychic Hand Puppet is a papier mache puppet that mad obvious predictions on the eye of Y2K. Both strips were relatively corny with a slight contemporary edge; more Ernie Bushmiller's Nancy than Robert Crumb's Zap Comix. After two years of collaboration the partnership ended. Bentley when on to become an accomplished bartending instructor Martens became an art professor.
