It looks at aspects such as age and gender differences, income levels, professional status and domestic responsabilities to form a comprehensive portrait of the working polulation in Europe today. The report concludes that there is a definite wish to change the present situation and this could act a clear incentive to policymakers in their shaping of labour market policy.
