The Effect of Age on Lower Extremity Muscle Activity During Gait in Healthy Subjects
註釋Objective: To investigate the effect of aging on trunk and lower extremity muscle activity during gait in healthy subjects. Methods: Data of 105 participants (20-89 years), divided into 7 decades, were included in this study. Subjects walked a distance of 12 meters, while surface electromyographic signals (EMG) of erector spinae (ERS), rectus femoris (RF), vastus lateralis (VL), biceps femoris (BF), semitendinosus (ST), tibialis anterior (TA) and gastrocnemius (GAS) muscles were recorded.
