註釋Trans-generational trauma are unhealed issues of prior generations being expressed in current generations. This can stay present through thousands of generations. They are repeated patterns of negative behaviors sometimes called ancestors syndrome. When ancestors experience deep psychological trauma genes in the brain get passed down to future generations. This was compounded when trauma such as war, colonization, and genocide. Many African Americans suffer greatly from the trauma of being enslaved they were abused mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and economically, numerous ancestors brought the trauma in their families. It left a devastating impact on future generations, we are left with the responsibility of correcting those negative genetic patterns within ourselves. When we began to heal ourselves on a genetic level we also send this healing energy to ancestors who have transitioned to the spiritual realm. We elevate their spirits with prayer, libation, and honoring them, it might take an entire generation to correct the genetics. The healing can began with one person but the healing is still effective, the most important action to take is to separate ourselves from other toxic family members who reject doing the inner work to repair the genes. The family member can be mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle etc......; it makes no difference boundaries or no contact are imperative to begin the healing process. These are no longer our family they are extremely infected by toxic energy until they make the choice to change there is nothing to do but pray for them. The focus must be self love and change for your self we must ensure that our children are clear of the toxic energy. This can reset the generational line and correct the genetic pattern.
