Drug Addiction Research and the Health of Women
註釋Research on drug abuse and addiction related to women has, until relatively recently, been sorely neglected, and most drug abuse interventions developed to date have largely been shaped by men's characteristics and needs. Begins with a history of drug abuse and women. Discusses the neurobiological correlates of addiction and shared findings from basic and applied treatment research, prevention, epidemiology, biological and behavioral mechanisms, treatment and etiology, and the consequences of drug abuse among women, as well as legal and other crosscutting issues.
