註釋Robert and Hannah came from London on 3 April 1635. They had with them their two sons, John and Edmund. The family arrived in Brooklyn and later moved to North Weymouth, Massachusetts. Another family by the name of Titus arrived in Monmouth, Maine between 1784-1790. In 1650, Edmund Titus walked with forty others, to what is now Westbury, L.I. N.Y. In 1654, Robert Titus and the rest of the family also went to Long Island and settled in Huntington. While Edmund remained with the Quakers, Robert and his family became interested in the Presbyterian religion.
