Tradition and Change in the Church
註釋Tradition is a process, an activity, an occurrence which straddles the centuries. The same can be said of change, which is always an integral part of tradition. But tradition and change are also concepts and we can try to work out a satisfactory account of tradition and change. The need for such reflective understanding of tradition and change is central to contemporary theology. It is to this task that the author addresses himself in the present work. He explains the necessity of tradition in the life of any community. In particular he highlights the unifying power of religious tradition.
