An equation was devices to provide recruiters with a convenient device for estimating the quality of a prospective recruit from three predictors: age, education, and aptitude score. This report describes the development of the equation and illustrates its effectiveness in predicting unsuitability discharges. It provides a convenient dial computer for estimating probability of unsuitability discharge.
