Eldridge House Disappearances
註釋Owned by Shalor Eldridge, lives were lost when Missouri Border Ruffians destroyed the hotel with a canon on May 21, 1856. More citizens died when Quantrill burned the hotel to the ground in 1863. It is no secret that forlorn ghosts of the dearly departed haunt the rooms of the famous Lawrence hotel. This tale brings to light the origin of the most famous ghost story surrounding the Eldridge Hotel.
