La composición arquitectónica en la obra de Teodoro González de León
註釋The volume documents in text and pictures the architectural legacy of Teodoro González de León (b. Mexico City, 1926). Author Larios, a long-time disciple of González de León, has also been in charge of the noted architect's photographic archive, a collection of plates of more than 250 architectural projects (constructions, designs, sketches and plans) all over the world. The book illustrates González de León's prolific architectural production from his early works in the 1950s to his later designs, an architecture characteristic for the use of Pre-Columbian elements and its integration quality into the present urban space. His most emblematic work include: the INFONAVIT building, the universities Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and Colegio de México, the main office building of the Fondo de Cultura Económica, the remodeling of the Bella Époque Cultural Center (now the bookstore of Fondo de Cultura Económica), the museums Tamayo Arte Contemporáneo (designed in partnership with Abraham Zabludovsky) and Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (UNAM), and many more residential, commercial and public buildings.
