A Study on Customer On-Line Returns
註釋E-commerce (electronic commerce) industry is highly dynamic and fast-growing business model on the Internet. The customers are changing from their conventional method of purchasing to the internet-based purchasing. The customer can purchase a product by seeing the images and complete description of that product on the websites. Since the customers cannot see, touch or feel the actual product, they need some assurance to be able to return the product in certain valid cases. This assurance is provided by the e-commerce companies in the form of return policies. There are various reasons behind these on-line returns. This research paper discusses about these various reasons. The study has been conducted by selecting two different cities of South India. An attempt has been made to provide few suggestions based on the findings of the study.
