Fly for Fun with Bill Thomas
註釋Bill Thomas's Fly for Fun is still the classic textbook for understanding not just aerobatics but the basic mechanics of flying. Bill was an aerobatic instructor, competitor, and competition judge in the 1970s and '80s. He taught hundreds of students to become safe, competent flyers while he worked with more experienced pilots to hone their skills for competition. He wrote the book on one of the first Apple home computers and had it printed to use with his students. It became popular beyond his flight school because of his intuitive understanding of how to explain and teach aerobatics. After he passed in 2009, his family formed Yellow Schoolhouse Press to reprint Fly for Fun and also his second book, Fly for Fun to Win. This third edition of Fly for Fun has been reformatted from the original home computer layout to make it more readable and fix typos while keeping the original content. Both books are Intended to accompany instruction by an aerobatic experienced CFI.
