Ethnic Minorities, Electoral Politics and Political Integration in Britain
註釋This book investigates the implications of increasing levels of electoral representation for ethnic minority elites' integration into British political life. It examines the political integration of ethnic minorities in Britain, as well as the functioning of the British party system, by considering, for example, whether elected office is likely to be an effective political channel for ethnic minorities. It also looks at the ways in which ethnic minority elite attitudes and behaviour may influence the British political system, either directly or indirectly, through their effect on the political integration of ethnic minorities at the mass level.
