Validation and Optimization of a Steady State Single Effect Absorption Model (by Using Measurement Data)
註釋The thesis consists of the validation and adaptation of a steady-state single-effect absorption model, with a water and lithium bromide mixture as the working fluid, by comparing the model results with measured data of the chiller with of cooling capacity. The previous model (made up by Walther Hüls and firstly adapted by Francesco Brunetti) is compared with the results from the chiller at the steady-state in order to find the biggest differences. The model is consequently adapted by adding new components and changing the existing ones, with the objective of achieving better results, closer to the reality. The new model is compared with the previous one, to see how the changes affect the model results, and with the measured data, to check that most of the results have improved and are closer to the experimental values. Finally the model is tested with real input data obtained from the measurements, the results are compared to the original model (model adapted) and to the experimental values corresponding to the input data selected for the test. This analysis is made to find out how the input data affect the solution of the program and to see if there is the need to change them. The final model consists of the model adapted without changing the input data for the real ones.
