Manuscript receipt book. Opens with a six-page index. Recipes are then arranged into four sections, separated by about twenty pages each with many pages blank. The first section includes recipes for cakes, puddings, and other sweets. The second contains only a recipe for "Cordiall flower watter." The third section begins with savory dishes. A section of recipes attributed to Lord Craven then transitions her back to cakes and puddings. The final section includes recipes for dairy, chiefly cheese and cheesecake. Recipes are frequently attributed, suggesting Lady Craven's social connections. Attributions include Lady Bridgman, Lady Anderson, Lady Duncomb, Mrs Skipwith (Lady Craven's birth name), and Lord Craven.
