Blood 'n' Thunder: Spring 2012
註釋The Spring 2012 issue features a Will Murray article -- almost a psychoanalysis -- on the Spider, pulpdom's most emotionally complex hero. BnT editor Ed Hulse offers a detailed, behind-the-scenes look at the 1940 cliffhanger serial starring Victor Jory as The Shadow. Old-Time Radio historian Martin Grams Jr. presents a comprehensive overview of the short-lived 1948 Green Lama radio series based on Ken Crossen's pulp hero. A 1941 writers-magazine article by Frank Gruber stresses the importance of invention in plotting mysteries. A classic hard-boiled detective story (William E. Barrett's "The Mobster Man" from 1933) and several departments round out the issue, which has the usual complement of rare photos, pulp covers, and original artwork.
