In previous analyses of fully developed combined forced- and natural-convection flows, a few examples were presented of two distinct states of flow and heat transfer which were obtained for a given set of conditions if the frictional heating was taken into account. This report discusses these pairs of solutions in greater detail and shows how the solutions are affected by systematic variations of the basic physical parameters. It is also shown that a critical set of psrametric values exists beyond which no fully developed solutions can be found.
