Alain Badiou: Relativism in Badiou's Theory of Truth
註釋12 years ago, I thought it was meaningful to study Alain Badiou, who theorized the plurality of truth and the subject against theories of unique truth, totalitarian thought and totalitarian political practices. Today, I see that it is much more meaningful. Again, in my thesis, I criticized Alain Badiou for remaining on an idealist ground despite his claim to be a materialist and for falling into relativism by not being able to find an objective ground for plural truths. I also criticized Alain Badiou for having detached the subject from its material life and transformed it into something formal. When I reread my thesis for publication, I once again saw that these criticisms that I shared with many thinkers were right.
