Professor Antonio Martino is a distinguished economist and scholar.

Originally from Sicily, a member of a family involved in politics for generations, he helped found Forza Italia. Elected continuously for more than a quarter of a century, he was an Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and a Minister of Defence. In addition, Professor Martino has written numerous books and lectured extensively in Italy and the United States.
