Meet the author, Monty Van Horn. He is just an ordinary person.  He is a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, combat veteran, and a pastor.  He is also a biker, hunter, mechanic, outdoorsman, your neighbor, a friend, and again, just an ordinary person.  Monty spent 12 years in the Army and felt called to leave the military to pursue ordination as a pastor so he could return to the military as a chaplain.  While those doors did not open, God did open other doors that guided him to become an ordained inter-denominational minister.  The way God did that was unusual to say the least.  The story is in the book.  After being obedient to God and becoming ordained by God himself (you will have to read the story) Monty was still just a lump of clay on the table.  God calls Monty into being a pastor of a church!  I know right?  God makes it clear that he wants Monty inside the church and no longer preaching just in the highways and byways!  You have just got to read the story, it is amazing!  So, don’t just open the front page and check the water with your feet!  Dive in and get submerged immediately!  If you are looking for edification, encouragement, confirmation, or just want an easy to read book, you have found it.  Enjoy and may God touch you and guide you as you travel through time with Monty.  Hang on as you ride back into the past then back again and what a ride it is!
